  1. I just got an Italian at Anthony's. They don't use lettuce.I like lettuce. You said they don't need tomatoes? I dunno about that… no tomatoes are how you prefer Italian subs? wow.

  2. I'm going to see you might be right but it all depends on what time and night you're looking for the sandwich if you want a nice Italian sub bova bakery open 24 hours a day in the North end you can get sandwiches 24 hours a day that was a good sandwiches fresh bread right out of the oven piping hot you can't beat it

  3. that looks great! i cant wait till you try big al's the only issue with big al's is you gottat try like 4 different things. italian, cheesesteak, meatball subs, and of course the pizza. cheers bro

  4. Nice one! I tried Calabrian Salami the other day for the first time. Spicy and awesome Micheal. Would pair well on an Italian sub. I like onion lettuce and roast peppers on my. Won’t cry if tomatoes are on it. What’s really good is the relish on a Muffalata. Also o I like a little mayo! Hey I’m Irish! Love your vids!

  5. Dude, I owned a sandwich shop in Lincoln for 12 years, Boars Head in the before times. I know sandwiches. Try the Italian at Family Delicatessen in Maynard. Top notch. Great people

  6. Typical mixture with heavy on the mortadella. That is Italian for Balogna. Trash. Over loaded with it. Supprasata is king and no need for Genoa salami on top of that. Should be sweet capicola then prosciutto. Then super sharp provalone. Mike I am 70 now but as a kid my mom would drag me to the north end. Her last name was Terranova. We would go to the deli and get scali bread with the fresh cut cold cuts bone dry. No pickles, no onions, no hot peppers, no mustard, no lettuce, no bullshit just pure Italian fresh delicious cold cuts. Then we would go to the original Reginas not the bullshit by name only Reginas now LOLOLOLO. Love your vids Mike.

  7. Great place. I live 20 mins away. Still haven't been for a sat beef yet. But I def will. Another fine review mike …

  8. Looks good!! Going to try Monica’s Mercado tomorrow. Just went back and watched your review on it

  9. Mike, you should try out Lola’s in Natick. You’ll appreciate their Italian sub and their Italian market.

  10. Ok wait a minute hold up. That place just swung for the pike! Those OG red serving trays just took me back to growing up and going to my Grandma’s house. She had them proudly displayed in her kitchen back in the 70’s. Along with a giant wooden spoon and fork of course! That’s like going home right there!

  11. Are you gonna get the the six dollar Italian at Market Basket are we gonna receive a review of that one?😂

  12. Damn you don't see lines like that shootin out the door much nowadays anywhere. I feel like every time I've had a great Italian its had chards of SLICED onion (not diced) jetting out the ends of the roll.
    I seen that…

  13. Wow!!!! You were not kidding Monica Mercado’s hands down best Italian sub!! The Real!!

  14. Here Iam in Lincoln Maine there is NO Italian food available! But we have Loons and fresh air.
