Pizza class!! How anybody can master homemade pizza 🍕

Pizza steel, douhj calcualtor, and all other pozza equipment at the link in my bio!

MY RECIPES 👇

3 day dough recipe:

PERCENTAGES:
Water 62%
Yeast .4%
Salt 2.5%
Olive Oil 3.3%
Sugar 2%

These percentages are based on the amount of Bread Flour used. (So if you use 1000g of bread flour, you’d add 620g (62%) of water, etc)

If you hate math like me, I HIGHLY recommend using my dough calculator! It’s free 🙂. Link in bio or visit Doughguy.co

  1. That was way too burnt on the bottom (for me) and no pepperoni 🥺. Still looks decent though!

  2. I live by the "no matter how it looks, it's almost always going to taste good" mantra. I've made a few pizzas at home now and they never quite live up to my standards, because I'm in search of perfection, but I'm never disappointed if that makes any sense. It's always delicious, I always enjoy the process and the pizza, but I haven't yet mastered it so there's always something to improve.

Even my worst pizza, which kind of fell apart on the stone and was an absolute mess, was delicious because it's pretty hard to screw up bread, sauce, and cheese.

  3. We have tried EVERY pizza peel AND everything, flour, cornstarch and corn meal to get the pizza off the peel and it’s ALWAYS a shit show so we don’t even try anymore! Our pizza oven just sits and collects dust because EVERYBODY says their method for getting pizza off the peel works AND NONE DO!!!

  4. Hi thanks for sharing. What is the wood at the end called ? I have a peel but I need a board to cut on

  5. My only complaint is the Diet Coke.

Just go all the way bro. Otherwise this is amazing and you’ve convinced me to buy more cooking stuff

  6. god the pizza steel is such a clutch one, bc otherwise i wouldnt be cooking them at home as someone who's worked at plenty of pizza places. a must cop

  7. I used to be a pizza chef at a flippin pizza. So here is some Pro tips:
Flour: when constructing the pizza crust, coat the dough on all sides well and when forming the crust, use an excessive amount of flour to make sure the dough does not stick
Thin spots: if you have large thin spots, poke the hole through and fold the dough over itself to seal
Peel: With a wooden peel use a lot of flower on the base before laying the dough skin down. If it gets sticky, lift up an end blow air under to try to loosen with a shaking motion

  8. With the amount of bloggers and tutorials out there…. I don’t agree that pizza making is gate held. Not at all.

  9. $119 usd plus tax and shipping for a $54 slab of carbon steel lol I’ll be heading down to my local metal supermarket and having them cut my own out for less than half the price, thanks for the idea 😂

  10. I mean, this video is aight, it shows you how to make pizza and all, but I must point out that no regular houseld has these items. Lile, no one has pizza steel just laying around, nor do people have that giant thing that takes the pizza out of the oven. Hell, even the wooden pizza board is not something that people have, so I feel like that this video doesn't really show you how an average joe can make a pizza, just how you can generally make pizza
