I will say, at least in my 20k-populated city, I have ordered from Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Domino's, and Papa John's. All 4 have been late before, and Papa John's is the only one that has texted me saying they were stuck in traffic or doing multiple deliveries, and mine was second. The other 3 just took a long time (10-30 minutes late), the food was cold, and they were upset I only tipped 15%. Papa John's has only failed to communicate once in the 8 years I have lived here. I have tried all 4 places 5+ times, but keep going back to Papa John's.

I ordered a pizza at work a while ago, and the place was super busy and short The manager called, said the pizza would probably take an hour to be delivered, apologized, and offered a free dessert. Fantastic customer service.

There were times I would literally be at a restaurant waiting for 45 minutes only for them to say “oh what order are you here to pick up….. oh sorry we haven’t started that one yet it will be about 30 minutes.” All for a bad review on my account and $3 fucking dollars. Made me want to put my fist through a wall. But it happens.
The Papa John's I worked at had 1 person on the line, 1 on the oven, and maybe 2 or 3 drivers during most big rushes. Taking the time to call 10 people to let them know what's going on would have just exacerbated the issue and make them all wait much longer.
Of course that could have been dealt with by being staffed properly, but we weren't allowed that.

Really like this guy’s videos, but the only thing that bothers me—and yea this is really just a big generic pet peeve for me: his videos are always reverse image!!! Letters etc backwards! And I just can’t stand it when people do that. Grrrrr
