  1. The color you’ve chosen for the exterior is so lovely. I hope it works well with the light and you can go forward with it. Although the floor is challenging, I know it will be perfect. Looking forward to seeing your upgrades.

  2. Great video! Maybe a bit more deeper and bold colour with the paint on your house? It looks the same colour as the house on the video. The paint will eventually fade. I like your neighbour who took a chance with that deep burn terracotta colour. Maybe a more vivid and vibrant version of the colour that you like from the other samples provided. Either way, it will look lovely when it is done.

  3. That water leak is massive. I hope you can find it.

Did they not tell you this when you bought the house? That's probably why they had it blocked off.

  4. Oh my Malcolm sure fixed up your kitchen! Bravo 👏 looks so much better showcasing that reupholstered chair facing the kitchen area

  5. Lovely house. Kitchen tweaks so much better, that beautiful chair never belonged there and was crying out to go in the corner and not cut off the gorgeous window. Lovely ❤

  6. Ahhhhhhh i got my cooking segment !!! Insalata deliziosa da Malcolm., grazie.. . So sorry for all the repairs you have to do ,.but you did well with Mapperton and you will do well here too

  7. Yeah! Another Italian vlog. I love your Italian videos and all your others as well. Happy Easter, Julie. Blessings to you and your family.

  8. Can't you just repair the floor and leave as is?? One tile that has come up (and in one piece, no less) does bot have to constitute replacing the whole thing. Maybe there are some major problems that we are not aware of, but replacing something that seems totally functional seems to be a waste of resources

  9. Julie, when you brought home your newly upholstered chair, I thought that will be so nice to sit in by the window. Nice to see it’s in the correct spot now! ❤

  10. terracotta tiles are a nightmare unless they have constant care – looking great until liquid is spilt on them …..

  11. Loved hearing the church bells! 🔔 I’d never ever tire of hearing those! So beautiful! I love the outside paint color that you’re leaning towards painting, it’s very pretty and calm. Love the indoor tile you’ve looked at as well. I too would lean toward the old tile! Love how Malcolm fixed the corner and sofa! The salad looked delicious as well! I need a Malcolm in my life!

  12. I just love church bells! We can hear you quite clearly, even with the church bells.

  13. Great job can you visit some Italian places and vilas like you do in the UK that will interesting to see . Happy Easter from Sintra

  14. Great to see on your wall that you have the nickel candle holders by Jane Knapp, who is a friend and was my boss many years ago in Bath. They look just right in your home!

  15. Looks wise and flow wise Malcolm moving the reupholstered chair is better BUT you want the view outside the window, understandably, so would I… it's your home, your cozy little nook, do what makes you feel the most comfortable 🤷‍♀️
