  1. Jose, tell people the story about your dogs and how you chose to live there so you could have your dogs with you.

  2. I had to subscribe because the integrity to actually purchase the dropped bread sticks…I would have just put them in the back and grabbed another package 😂

  3. Genuine question, it would have been cheaper making the Gnocchi, it's not hard to make; right? I agree with the pasta sauce, you can make your own. $7.00 is crazy when you can make your own.

Then again, I know the goal of your channel is how to can budget. So, I don't know if you take space into account.

Like yeah you can make gnocchi but one does need a bit of space.

$20 is EASY, keep good work.

Suggestion: A soup or Paella, you can still cut the cost down for 2 people. like Use drumsticks, can throw maybe 6 in there for like 3-5 bucks. 1/4 shrimp, small ones ;ole 51/60 $1.25. Maybe some store brand sauces or hillshire farms, similar in price surprisingly. Still have about 8 bucks for salad.

  4. Bro that vegan mozzarella is completely disgusting, it’s like eating Elmer’s glue. Please don’t lie to yourself into liking that stuff 😂😂

  5. Get yourself a wooden cutting board those plastic ones are contributing micro plastics to your meal every time you use them.

  6. Australia shortens a lot of their words. Veggi is no acception! McDonalds changed there display signs to read 'Macca's' over here! Ha, nobody calls Macca's 'McDonalds' in Australia! 😅

  7. While i can't take credit for this I ran the meal plan through Chat GPT for a single parent with a child to see what the potential of this cost effective meal for two would bring – hope it helps.

  8. I love how resourceful you are. I think regardless of what your budget is, everyone can learn a little bit of something and be more frugal.

  9. Try marry me gnocchi with canneli beans. Tomato paste, onion, bunch of spinach, garlic, a little stock and gnocchi pan fried before adding all together. 😋

  10. You can make croutons out of the breadsticks. Garlic, garlic salt, olive oil and Italian seasoning. You can even add parm to them. I die every time you say gnocchi because it's wrong, but the food looks amazing.
