  1. Just keep in mind Italian-American food exists because new immigrants to the US couldn't find all the same ingredients here, so they adapted their recipes.

    Here tomatoes and meat were abundant. So were dairy products. The food reflects that.

  2. Not italian american. That's American Italian. Way different! it's so sad knowing our cultures has been mixed. The knowledge Italians brought during the immigration of the '800/'900has been lost and modified during the years.
