Very interesting wine tasting. Maybe throw in some no so good wines for comparison sake.
I wish you would taste the whole flight together then do the reveal from lowest to highest score like you used to. I remember your comments on this, but to me, that just flows more naturally than the jump cuts. Thanks for this though. I know Piedirosso but Areni is a new one for me.
Happy to see Areni gain notoriety. I think of Areni as a tad fuller bodied than PN, but close enough. Great examples to choose from even in the US. Liatiko from Greece is also a potential substitute for PN, IMHO. I half expected you to pull out a St. Laurent as well.
