Ristorante Trevi in Highbury Corner is a long-standing, family-run Italian restaurant that’s been serving classic Italian food since 1962 🇮🇹

Inside, it’s got that proper old-school feel, the kind of place that feels untouched by time.

I started with the bruschetta fresh, juicy tomatoes, garlic and basil on warm, crisp bread. Simple, but done right.
For mains, I went for the veal scallopini with spaghetti bolognese and they were not shy with the portion. Perfectly al dente pasta, rich and slightly sweet bolognese, and tender veal with a light crisp coating.

I’d already been eating all day… and still finished it. That says it all.

  1. Me again – should try Taverna Trastevere if you’re on a Italian kick! opened by an Italian tv celeb – one in the uk and one in rome – only place in the uk to do an authentic carbonara!, worth a visit

    ( and i know you’ll get to it – but Yi-Ban!)
