Daniele Manno | Acting Showreel – Cinema (in Italian)

Exceprts from some of my dramatic roles in cinema.

My path as an actor began at the Accademia del Doppiaggio (Dubbing Academy) in Rome, where my teachers were Roberto Pedicini (the Italian voice of Goofy, Sylvester the Cat, Kevin Spacey, Jim Carrey, Javier Bardem, Rupert Everett among many others…), Christian Iansante (Bradley Cooper, The Incredibles’ Syndrome, Johnny Depp in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” among the others…) and Ughetta Lanari (a much renowned speaker for the Italian television). Then I started to delve more into the Stanislavskij technique and the Strasberg method, attending the Arti Blu (Blue Arts), an acting school directed by actress Barbara Pasqua, who was a fellow of Salvatore Esposito (Jenny Savastano in “Gomorrah”) when they first studied acting at the Teatro Blu (Blue Theatre) in Rome, with the dear departed Beatrice Bracco, one of the very best coachs of the Strasberg method and Stanislavskij technique in Italy. Barbara herself even thaught acting at the Teatro Blu itself, at the side of Beatrice, before the latter’s untimely death. My first role was that of a weird talking corpse in “Idoli – Una pericolosa discesa nell’umano” (“Idols – A dangerous descent into the human”) by Danilo Amato, while I recently had my first main role in “Una Storia Segreta” (“A Secret Story”), a mystery-thriller set in the 1800s, at the time of brigands in southern Italy, directed by Alberto Celestino. Out soon!
