Oh man! I was there when that place first opened in the late 90s. I ate there at least once a week in my college days.. there and Steve’s BBQ. Also always ordered the godfather. I haven’t found a place that does it better in the Bay Area over the past almost 30 years. Also love their gnocchi.
I spent two summers in Berkeley taking summer courses at UC Berkeley ten years ago or so. I almost forgot about this place. This takes me back. That's next to Asian Ghetto, but I hear the locals now consider that derogatory even though many people called it that when I was there. I think the café place next door had some amazing popcorn chicken (again, things may have changed since I last visited a decade ago..)
Check out the other restaurants nearby and Cheese Board (pizza) a couple blocks away.
Hi Hansel, I'm the same from Italy…please, we never eat pasta with salad or bread 🤣🤣🤣…in Italy pasta Is called "primo" that means "First dish"…we eat salad with beef or fish…and pasta with bread Is a calories bomb 😂😂😂
