O’Heas Bakery was established in 1956, when Bruno and Giuseppina Arena migrated from Italy to Coburg. It began as a bakery delivering fresh bread to the local community. Seventy years later, it continues under their sons, the Arena brothers. While some things have changed – a deli and grocery were added – others remain the same: the bread is still made in-house, using the original recipe.
We sat down with Jim Arena to ask what the secret is behind reaching such a milestone.
