We were invited to a wine tasting featuring Poderi Colla wines recently. This is their 2022 Poderi Colla Costa Bruna Barbera d’Alba (13.5%) wine from Italy. Bought for $40 Cdn and imported by Salivate Wines.
Tasting notes: medium to full bodied with flavors of beautiful blackberries & red fruits. Sweetness is low, acidity is moderate & tannins are well integrated. Lesser notes of earthiness, liquorice, dark plums & spice.
