  1. I’ll be trying this on Thursday. I’m trying your older recipe with the pine nuts and sardines- pasta con le sarde

  2. I was going to do this this year for my birthday (which is on St. Joseph's Day), but I couldn't find the specific pasta for this. Next year…

  3. This is one recipe I don’t make enough of, only when I get reminded of which time of year it is. But it comes out wonderfully and very tasteful each time. I also put a little wine before I add some pasta water.

  4. Oh yea! This is something I can work with. Easy and I bet flavor packed! I'm out of anchovies…time for a supermarket run.

  5. I love this particular pasta, did something with ricotta, lemon, and parmesean on it and was wonderful! Light and fluffy almost with that texture, it was fantastic. This dish reminds me of fresh ceasar dressing the tang maybe from the achovy? Gotta try this maybe on linguine pasta my favorite. Love this guy, hes a great chef and what personality ❤

  6. I love Mafalda pasta, even with Sunday sauce. For St Joseph Day we always made your other recipe, pasta con les sarde.

  7. I'll be using your previous recipe with sardines, pine nuts and fennel….
And I just happen to already have some mafaldine pasta.

And I'm going to be making your St. Giuseppe zeppole for the first time, also.

  8. Our mouths are watering in Kansas City. People are preparing bread and sweets for the altar on Thursday.
