  1. Not all steaks are created (or cooked) equal. There are plenty of national chains like Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn Steakhouse, but the real awesome steak joints are the local small ones all over the country, with the style and types of steaks varying by locality. They aren't bad steaks at the national chains, but they do suffer from the lowest common denominator syndrome of having to satisfy nationwide palates.

  2. These are the common steak cuts in the USA (they are all good depending on your mood):
1 Ribeye (my favorite), usually no bone, fatty in a good way and tender.
2 T-bone a bone to add flavor, some fat, a small piece of tenderloin.
3 Porterhouse just like a T-bone but with a bigger tenderloin
    4. New York Strip very lean and a very meaty flavor.
    5. Tenderloin expensive and very tender. Usually is served in medallions.

I think I covered them all. High to low on cost per pound.

    1. Tenderloin
    2. Ribeye
    3. Porterhouse
    4. T-bone
    5. New York Strip.

A well-prepared New York Strip is just as good as a Ribeye. It depends on your mood.

  3. According to a Jolly video, Brits boil their green beans. Try steaming, frying in butter, baking or air frying. This will prevent them from being waxy or soggy.

  4. When I go to Texas Roadhouse I usually get the full slab of ribs and they fall off the bone. I also get the loaded baked potato with green beans

  5. If you have a problem with liking green beans, par boil them with a few strips of bacon then saute them in garlic butter and mix in some crumbled bacon. Yum!

  6. Love Andre & Sara! Their Europeans in America is such a catchy tune, I have to sing along every time.😊

  7. Many Americans put ham ,onion , bacon fat and bacon in our green beans and yes we have green bean casserole. We usually doctor up many of our dishes. Have you ever had cream corn casserole? It is my opinion that they got the best cut of beef steak which is ribeye. jmo

  8. I have had much better steak usually from small places like the mesquite pit in Texas. Big chains are ok, but the real places in the deep south have long aged steak, that are extremely tender and juicy.

  9. Authentic rattlesnake bites should be listed instead of some peppers and cheese bites!? I would have said something about that one being an American citizen! I enjoy frog legs, Gator tail, turtle, and rattlesnake! Squirrel, rabbit, deer, elk, bear, fish, and crawfish, shrimp and lobster!

  10. Shame Shame Shame on ppl wasting potato skins!!!! You are correct, the skins soak up all the ingredients and especially when baking to being crispy. Nothing like it when done properly!!! So says Austin Tx!! 😎🍸

  11. Boomy, I caught rattlesnakes in fact a 6 foot diamondback skin is hanging on my wall in my office. Rattlesnake tastes a bit like chicken (mild flavor)
