INGREDIENTS:
Italian Sausage 1 lb
Diced Onions 1 cup
Garlic Powder 1 Tbsp
Pureed Tomatoes 8 oz
Rotel 10 oz
Italian Seasoning 1 Tbsp
Salt and Pepper to taste
Cream Cheese 8 oz
Chicken Broth 8 oz
Heavy Cream 8 oz
Parmesan Cheese 1/4 cup
Baby Spinach 6 cups
(I like spinach)
DIRECTIONS:
Spray large frying pan with cooking spray, I use olive oil, heat on low high heat
Once heated add Italian sausage and onion and brown until done
Add everything, except heavy cream, parmesan cheese and spinach, stir to combine, allow to reach boil then reduce to medium low
After 10 minutes add heavy cream, parmesan cheese and combine well
Let cook for 5 minutes then add spinach and combine until wilted, work in batches of spinach
Once completely incorporated allow to cook 10 more minutes
