Beccofino Italian Bistro is in my village

Beccofino is Italy in Tampa 🇮🇹

Ronald and I both share Italian roots, so spending the evening with Chef Antonio and his wife Elisabetta felt especially meaningful.

From the moment we walked in, the warmth, hospitality, and care behind every dish reminded us that food is culture, memory, and connection.

Beccofino is part of my series “It Takes a Village to Heal,” where I celebrate the people and places that make up our village. Sometimes that village is a restaurant down the street that feels like home, and sometimes it’s the person sitting across the table from you.

Ronald and I have been part of each other’s village for the past few years, and sharing this night together was a beautiful reminder of that.
