Just because you can't fathom something, does not make it untrue. I want as many religious figures in the Catholic religion to be very good people, the truth is there are many, many, many, cases of sexual abuse on minors within the religion. Many times the perpetrator is just moved to a different church. Bad men hiding amongst good men.
Why 33 days? I do think we should resesrch things. The catholic church is notorious to gate keeping information. Even the bible itself. But i can understand that delving too far into info and when someone doesnt have business in it. I get that argument. Most of the files is just perversion p0rn. Authentic reconciliation cannot be one-sided. It is also worth asking whether the vitality and growth seen in traditional communities raises deeper questions about the broader crisis in evangelization within the modern Church. In many places, the visible distinction between Catholics and the surrounding secular culture has diminished significantly, especially in areas such as family life, sacramental practice, and moral witness. This is not an accusation, but a serious pastoral question: why traditional communities are thriving while others struggle to transmit the faith effectively? Empty churches, no children, etc. Rather than viewing traditional communities as a problem to be managed, perhaps they should be seen as a sign that many faithful are seeking continuity, clarity, and transcendence. The goal should not be 5 years' probation, suspicion, or marginalization, but honest discernment and unity grounded in TRUTH
Ultimately, the Church has always endured crises and tensions. The path forward must be guided not by suspicion or defensiveness, but by GODLY charity, truth, humility, and a shared desire to preserve and transmit the fullness of the Catholic faith. No hidden agendas.
Why would anyone risk going to sspx service when they are problematic. You can go to a Roman Catholic Latin mass. Why become a pseudo Catholic Amish. Sspx is so self righteous like the Pharisees.

I was a postWWII baby who went to Catholic grade school taught by Benedictine Nuns wearing the full habit and graduated 8th grade in 1960. I went to daily Latin Mass and my class had 46 kids in it which 2 of my grade school years we were combined with the 13 children in the previous year, so there were 59 to 60 children in one classroom. We all had dads who were veterans from WWII. They came home and married and had families with several children. One girl came from a family of 12 children. Nobody was gay that I knew of, we had families who worked and prayed together and we were happy with simple things. We grew up knowing right from wrong, classrooms were peaceful and we learned so much during that time. Then when so many churches after Novo Ordos moved the Tabernacles to the side or into the Sacristy I knew they changed the real reason of the Mass. Suddenly the priest was an entertainer facing the people judged by how good his sermons were. So much reverence was gone and I was taught that the Mass being spoken in Latin meant that no matter where you went it was always the same, there was continuity. We took our Missles with us to follow the prayers because in America on the right was English and the left side was printed in Latin. You could go to Mass in Italy or France and you knew the Mass was going to be in Latin. I liked the beautiful organ music not the guitars and tambourines. But I continued even though I didn’t like the changes but when in the 90’s we discovered that our parish priests were having G*y S*x parties in the rectory and they got caught and the Archbishop didn’t defrock them and kick them out I knew we had a serious problem. As far as I’m concerned we don’t have a real true Catholic Church anymore. This has to be the secret of Fatima that we expected to be disclosed in 1960 but it didn’t happen. They refused to release it. I no longer go or give money to the Church because I can’t deny the Blessed Mother and be a Protestant or I don’t recognize deviants as holy or blessed! I tried to find a good parish with a good priest but I couldn’t find one. My daughter went to a Catholic college ran by nuns but when I attended a parents meeting the Mother Superior said in a speech that she condoned abortion. I knew the Church had lost the way!
