From Chicago to Italy in one very long (but worth it) day 🇺🇸✈️🇮🇹
Landed in Milan, spent a couple hours soaking it all in, then caught a train down to Genoa. After walking the streets with our luggage, checking into the apartment, and running on pure adrenaline… we were exhausted.
So we did the best possible thing — grabbed some local Genoa favorites, uncorked a beautiful bottle of red wine, and cooked our first dinner in Italy right in our apartment. 🍝🍷
Simple. Local. Perfect first night.
