After soaking up the Florida sunshine, we’re back home and got hit with a brutal NYC reality check. With snow everywhere, freezing temps, and nowhere to park the damn car… there’s only one way to fight back: with a classic red sauce meal @ Park Side Restaurant. We had lunch with the guys and indulged in their best — an insane antipasti, seafood, steaks, chops and ridiculous amount more. Park Side is a Corona, Queens institution known for classic Italian food and old school vibes. Let Alfredo know we sent you… 🍝🤝🇮🇹

THE GUY WITH THE GLASSES IS ONE U..Y DUDE!
I first visited Parkside with my then Shea Stadium colleagues. I ordered shrimp parmaginia. When the food came, I thought they gave me the wrong dish, the shrimps were gigantic.
It’s the best
you’re right I used to have all my meetings with politicians there and I am a legend
I grew up eating here it’s my favorite Italian restaurant. The food is classic Italian American and it is delicious. The ambiance makes you feel like you go back in time. I hope the food is still great I heard the owner passed.
Is not like it use to be didn’t enjoy it food was not good sorry
Corona girl here born and raised. Parkside was always the spot. Im happy its still the bomb. Be there soon
Everything looks delish. Except the steak, steak like that must be med. rare. It was way overcooked
It's awesome but it's not like you can't make any of that food at home 😊
My dear friend and business partner lived around the corner. I had my 40th birthday party there in the Marilyn Monroe room. Sal entertained my friends and family with his singing voice. I've been meaning to go one day. Thx for the video, food was amazing.
The lemon peel is an American custom. It started by Immigrants who in the early 1900's couldn't get their bitter coffee from home, so ,to make the American coffee more bitter they would line the rim of the cup with lemon.
The best. many a meal there past 30 years….Good to see rosario and Ernie at the table…
Don’t love places that do the sizzling plate for the steak. 9/10 the steak is overcooked as it was here. Very hard to time the temp for the chef because they can’t control how long it residually heats on said plate.
Bread. Is best
Spaghetti park across the street. Lemon ice king!❤❤
I used to go rolla skating in the park on the map of the world!! Have eaten there many times!
Parkside never changes, glad to see it's going strong. Definitely worth the trip if you've never been there. Always loved the home made wine as well.
I grew up there ! Was a great town to be a kid in the 60’s n 70’s. ❤️
I love that place!!! Great video!!!
You had a chance to get a great lesson in the history of Parkside and the original corona supper club but you wanna Crack jokes about Marilyn Monroes bush. Sometimes it's best to just shut up and listen
Buddy took me there. Said how great it was. It was really good.
My best friend's father was the contractor who built the place. RIP
Now Abbott and Costello are doing restaurant reviews
LOL when Cug pretended to snort the cheese! I'm stealing that move.
Mets and Jets. Sounds like a loser joint.
Parkside and Johns on East 12th St. are my favorite Italian restaurants. My parents had so many anniversary meals there with all there friends. I took many ex girlfriends there, been up to The Marilyn Monroe room and took videos of all the festivities. Have not been there for awhile but since I`m still in the neighborhood I think it`s about time I go back…
I am so jealous. I moved from The Heights in the mid-90's and I never heard of this restaurant. Boy, what a missed great dining pleasure. It was heart warming to hear the Queens Italian language. Thanks for sharing and God Bless.
I went to high school with Alfredo ! I remember he started at Barbetta which just closed .
No! You're got nervous because ya know who owns it!
"She had to be the first girl no bush" SMH😦
Wow, brings back fond memories. I lived in Flushing until I turned 23 and as a kid we used to bike thru the worlds fair grounds to Corona for ices at the Lemon Ice King. I still remember those gallon jars of pistachio nuts lining the back wall and the old man usually asleep in his chair. I ate at the Parkside many times and attended small partys there. Thanks for the great video.
