Italian Wine Dinner – Tuesday, March 10 – Here is what’s happening:
There are two Italian winemakers that are traveling across the United States, and they will be in San Diego for one day — and we are delighted to announce that they are leading the Wine Dinner on March 10.
We have Angelo di Grazia from the Tornatore Estate on the slopes of Mount Etna – and we have Barbara Widmer from the Brancaia Estate in Tuscany.
Tornatore Estate has been farming since the 1500’s (!!) and has been making quality wines on Mount Etna since the 1860’s. One highlight we will be serving is their Nerello Mascalese from the Pietrarizza Contrada.
Brancaia Estate has been making wine since the early 1980’s and their focus is Sangiovese and Super Tuscans. We are excited to serve their “Ilatraia” Super Tuscan at the Dinner.
