Recipe! 🤗
Ingredients :
7 shallot bulbs, trimmed and sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup dry wine
1/4 cup lemon juice
Pene pasta
1 cup blue and white cheese ( or ricotta cheese if available)
2 teaspoins grated lemon peel
8 fresh basil keaves, cut into thin crosswise strips
Steps:
1. Sauté shallots until golden brown
2. Sprinkle salt and pepper
3. Add wine and 2 tablespoons of the lemon juice
4. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 20 min
5. Add Pene (with little cooking juice), white & blue cheese, remaining lemon juice, and lemon peel
6. Toss gently until cheese is melted and basil and toss again! Done! 🤗🤗🤗
