  2. This just reminded me that I had some Aldi ripoff Mateos Rose sat in a cupboard that somebody gave me for Christmas about 5+ years ago and had been forgotten about!
    I duly got it out and had a glass… now I don't know if is because it's been sat there for so long bit it smelt like turps and tasted rank! The contents of the bottle promptly went down the sink!

  3. I remember wine bars opening Mike! Our hang out as art students in. 1979 was the Brahms and Liszt (= pist) in Covent Garden near the Opera house. Long gone ….. happy evenings!
