I bought this ravioli form at HomeGoods the other day. Let’s make some homemade ravioli with it and see how well it works. It comes with a recipe for the dough.

Let’s check out this new ravioli maker from HomeGoods! I’m excited to try making some homemade ravioli for the first time. This video shows the process of how to make ravioli, from dough to plate, following a simple ravioli recipe. It’s a fun experience in pasta making, resulting in delicious fresh pasta for dinner.

  1. That looked really good. I have bad arthritis on one hand and it's hard to use a rolling pin. I do have a pasta roller for my mixer but rarely use it. Next time I am in town I'll have to remember to stop by Home Goods. I always forget..

  2. I used a similar ravioli form years ago. Yours did a better job of keeping the edges sealed. I found I had to go back and crimp them with a fork.

  3. Looks like so much fun with edible results.

I have made dumplings long long long ago but I haven't made ravioli.

All in all, you made it look doable and tasty.

  4. That looks really good and I enjoyed the process of making them . I was thinking that sun dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers would be tasty additions ! ❤

  5. Your Ravi's were thick and tough because you 1. Didn't roll the dough thin enough and 2. You over cooked them! I have a form like that one and the Ravi's cook in about 3 minutes or less. About 5 when frozen. Keep trying, it will be worth it!

  6. Looks delicious! I have a ravioli maker and need to pull it out of storage. Thanks for the ideas!

  7. I used to love going to Trader Joe’s but they became too crowded to be enjoyable to shop at and I haven’t been in one in 3 years. I miss the way it used to be. It’s not so much the stores fault, it’s mostly the customers fault, I think.

  8. One good thing is that they did not break in the hot water. Try the same dough recipe as the first time but with 2 additional egg yolks and I think you will be happier.
