In this video I welcome you back to my Garden Terrace in Italy. Finally some sunshine has come out after a long dark and cold spell. Do you as a creative person feel it is hard to get through Winter. In this episode I offer some simple advice that helps me with the dark days. First is get creating, anything that you love to create work on it, consistently. Drink some hot drinks that make you feel warm and safe, fill the house with flowers. Keep a special journal just for good word that are positively, then you can read over it at times when your motivation is low or your spirits down.

We've had an unusually mild winter, even for Dallas. Those winter days that are dark more often than light do get to me, but I find that reading, knitting, and baking lots of loaves of bread are something of a balm. Orange pekoe has become my winter beverage of choice. Still can't get over the view from your balcony!
