I don't see The Prince and Princess of Wales and their family moving anytime soon as they just moved into a house on the Windsor Estate last year after paying for it to be renovated into their family home near their children's schools . This means that they have already choosen to live on the Windsor Estate and keep an official Residence in London for Royal Duties like His Majesty King Charles the Third has done to give their children space to grow up away from public view .
The fact that the late Queen Elizabeth the Second prefered her apartment at Windsor Castle , His Majesty King Charles the Third prefers Clarence House when in London but his weekend home High Grove , the current Prince and Princess of Wales prefer to stay at Forest Lodge at Windsor but possibly has a central Residency in London and every single one of them consider Buckingham Palace as the office . Queen Victoria complained about rodent issues in Buckingham Palace and stated it felt too big for one family and when she passed away the family turned it into an official office and entertainment space and recently it's been opened to the public and no one wants to live in a museum .

If I was King Charles I would be burried at Balmoral since the Royal Tomb where Elizabeth rests is out of room. But secretly I would be burried with Diana on her private island with no additional markings to the tomb.

I think Will and Kate look ridiculous at public events as they carefully try to show no signs of personality, pretending to be intensely interested in every mundane thing the small-minded people who look up to them say.
Blooming better not be moving they have moved so many times spent money making houses forever homes just to move, their last move was their forever home and no more moves

I suspect Queen Elizabeth II was the last British monarch who will ever use Buckingham Palace as a primary residence. Even she didn't want to initially and preferred Clarence House for herself and her family when she became monarch, but Prime Minister Churchill wouldn't agree.

I came into this expecting to eye roll and leave a snarky comment about how as an American you don’t know. But as I listened you changed my mind. Thoughtful, informative and well put together. Dammit you made me feel bad for prejudging. Bigger picture – don’t prejudge people, listen first, give people the benefit of the doubt.
I’m agree they will not live in Buckingham Palace (as he wants to reduce the feeling of distance or being out of touch) but yes it will be an office and a place for receptions.
