What to do with grape waste? Can it be turned from trash into a resource, from litter into cosmetics or health products?
A smart project (co-financed by the EU) involving Italy, France, Lebanon, Jordan and Tunisia is working to make it happen. The idea behind the project BestMedGrape is to exploit the innovation potential of the Mediterranean traditional crop to transform it into a commercial product, generating business and employment opportunities as well as reducing the environmental pollution produced by the bulky waste of wine making.
