  1. Beeswax had me believing Riesling, the minerality had me bouncing between Sancerre and Chablis. Only when you mentioned Kimmeridgian soil was I certain.

  2. Okay, not really good at white wine but here we go,😂.
Based on your very first description with no clues, I thought 🤔 malolactic fermentation and oak aging for Chardonnay maybe ( California), ripe fruit warm climate and the minerality with stone and sea took me back to White Burgundy. Both wrong after clue 1 and $40’s. The following clues bounced me around. Even to Alberino Rias Baixas. Got to say , no good answer until the reveal, and then it all made sense. I guess what little Chablis I’ve had were young and crisp. And the lack of vanilla should have excluded oak. My bad.
Another very good and fun episode. 😁🍷🍷. Thanks
