You guys are doing a great job finding properties and showcasing them. Since I have 2 Border Collies, in the future I will be looking for something on the edge of town or within walking distance (in case I can't pass the Italian DL test), that has a garden area. Also would prefer 1 level or 2 for future mobility issues. You say "I have a guy" and " I've spoken to an architect ", what is it that you get involved in. Are you working with an agent, do you offer design services etc. Thanks, Dan, Scout and Blue
The cantina would make a great second bedroom, maybe with it's own on-suite if that's possible. It would be even better if a staircase could be added from the main level down to it.
I was thinking about the roof over part of that deck. Weather permitting you could live up there a good amount of the time. Cantina almost doubles the house and it is rather small on it's own.

I simply love this one! You could simply move in and start living or you could make some simple modifications (bath and kitchen) to make the flat function better. I see the cantina as a studio flat for guests. The best part is the roof terrace.

I really love this property. Do you have an idea of general costs to renovate the cantina into a studio with a bathroom?
I love the feel of this home! I would want to protect the water supply on the terrace area. You can always start out with a big umbrella for shade on your terrace and still have sun for tanning and soaking in that vitamin D from the sun. It has a great feel. One of my favorites for sure.
Definitely would create a studio apartment in the cantina. I need this place. My adult daughter and I have been looking for such a place.
