  1. We make a lot of these at home. You cannot beat Julia Child's Beef Bourguignon recipe. I've found that if I can look up a good recipe by a great chef, you can make a lot of the recipes just as good at home than a French restaurant in the US.

  2. That French hotdog would go great with some dijon. I would love to try the Confit de Canard. I am always looking for a better recipe for Boeuf Bourguignon.

  3. I love food from every part of the world, but for me, there is something extra special about the way food is prepared in France (I may be biased because my father was French). It is always a pleasure to watch the two of you, Les Frenchies!

  4. The crépe Suzette @ Le Train Bleu looks like it was being flambéed with Grand Marnier, when one looks closely at the bottle. N'est ce pas?

  5. Every restaurant that had profiteroles on the menu, was out of them. So disappointed.

  6. This video is amazing! Thank you very much for highlighting what to expect each season. THAT was fascinating and I can't wait to try what Spring has to offer while I'm there for a couple of weeks in May!

  7. I was in a local charcuterie place in Lyon, yesterday, and found a sausage inside a brioche- like a tiny sausage roll. It was incredible! I must have passed by it for 3 months! Never noticed it!!

  8. I live just north of Montréal and the food is delicious around here. At new years, I always get Reblochon to make a tartiflette. This year I was disapointed because the Canadian government banned the Reblochon because of a cow disease in the Haute Savoie. But my local fromager recommended a local Québec cheese as a replacement. The tartiflette was delicious. I hope we can get Reblochon next new years, but it’s nice to know there is a local alternative available. My favorite Bistro meal is a steak frite (made with aiguillette). As a dessert… difficult to choose here, but I think I have to go with a Vacherin au marron avec sauce au chocolat. Absolument to die for.

  9. Ahhhh…The kouign amann from Bo & Mie. That is just a mean thing to do to a person who is 11 hours away on a Saturday morning! 😂 Love your videos! They always lead me to look for flight deals immediately after watching.
