Ingredients:
1 pound Italian ground pork sausage
a few slices of bacon
3 cloves garlic
3 green onions
1 tbsp. of Italian spice mix
Oregano to taste(optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 small potatoes cubed
1/2 bag washed and chopped Kale
smoked paprika(optional)
Chili flakes(optional)
1 to 2 cups of Half&Half
Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Fry the bacon in a pot, then remove it from the pot. Cook the ground pork in bacon fat, then add the garlic, onion, Italian spices, oregano, smoked paprika, salt and pepper to taste and cook for a few minutes. Add water or chicken broth, the potatoes and cook for about 20 minutes on medium heat. Add the kale and the Half&Half and cook until the Kale is soft. Serve the soup with grated parmesan, fresh Italian bread and a glass of white Italian wine and much 😍.
