This Saturday we are thrilled to welcome Alex Bianchini of Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona, who will be pouring and discussing a beautiful lineup straight from the heart of Montalcino.

Born in the 17th century, this storied estate preserves its noble soul within the Bishop’s Palace, once built by Fabivs de’ Vecchis of Montalcino. Passed through aristocratic lineage and shaped by the union of the Piccolomini and Ciacci families, the palace became a symbol of heritage, refinement, and tradition.

In 1985, visionary winemaker Giuseppe Bianchini reimagined the estate, elevating its wines onto the world stage while honoring centuries of legacy. Today, the Bianchini family continues this pursuit of excellence — crafting wines that embody history, prestige, and the art of Italian living.
