I tried some of the best sandwiches in Stockholm in one day to see what the city’s sandwich scene is really made of. When I found out there’s a New York–style deli in the heart of Stockholm putting classic Italian dishes inside sandwiches, I knew I had to investigate. But first, we’re warming up with two very different sandwich spots to see just how diverse Stockholm’s sandwich scene really is. We’ll visit Mackverket, which went from humble food truck to local sandwich legend, and ERTH, a butcher shop specialising in premium cuts and dry-aged steaks.

Massive thanks to everyone in this video for chatting with me on camera and letting me hang around behind the scenes while they made their sandwiches. I truly loved every minute of filming this episode.

  1. Phew, hey everybody. In the spirit of keeping myself accountable and trying to make this show work, your girl has spent the last 20 hours editing this delicious sandwich episode (totally could go for literally all 3 options right now haha).
Hope you guys enjoy and let me know what's up? 🙂
I read every one of your comments and from the bottom of my heart thank you for all the nice messages and feedback. ❤❤❤

Who wants to guess where am I off to in 7 days?👀

  2. @3:49 Chicken is literally spelled Kyckling, with a Y. This idiot: "Oh… KOOOckling". Stop making up Swedish. I hate it

  3. I’ve lived in Stockholm for 10 years and I’m rediscovering it with you! Thanks for these videos!

  4. Dubbla Deli is delicious but you need to try La Gazelle right across the aisle from Dubbla Deli in Hötorgshallarna. There you will find the best sandwich in Stockholm, I kid you not.

  5. Damn, i walked through HTH a few days ago and totally missed the sandwich shop. Gonna go there next time i'm in town.

  6. Stumbled across this video on my recommended. The quality of this video is amazing, I watch alot of these videos but this is abstolutely S Tier! Subscribed! Keep it up!

  7. In Hotorget you kinda passed by one of the most popular and delicious soup I've tried in Stockholm) Kajsas soup

  8. 3:02 €16 for a sandwich in Sweden with those ingredients, that’s ridiculously expensive. How hard has the inflation hit Sweden. People must be starving with those prices. If this was Katz’s deli full on pastrami on rye bread I would understand it however this clip shows us gnarly chicken bits and one sliver of bacon and a lettuce 😂

  9. I was expecting to see you visit Sandhäxan (häxa=witch, sandwitch😂) as that’s the place I’ve heard is THE sandwich place. Next time I guess.

  10. 08:17 Hahaha as a Swede it's honestly hard to translate "goffa", think of it like the "kitchensink" metaphor. But not in a negative where you're just throwing shit in for the sake of it.
