A small amount of saffron threads

2 garlic cloves

2 tbsp. of unsalted butter

1 shallot

some fresh thyme

4 oz. of dry white wine

3 oz. of fresh grated parmigiano reggiano cheese

2 1/2 cups of aborio rice

7 cups of chicken stock

a little extra virgin olive oil
