We just landed in Hanoi, often ranked among the most polluted cities in Southeast Asia, and this is what our first 24 hours looked like.
From navigating the chaos at Noi Bai International Airport, dealing with a small airport scam attempt, figuring out where to withdraw cash without crazy ATM fees, and choosing the best local SIM card/phone plan: we break down everything we learned immediately after landing.
And of course, we had to dive straight into our first local meal: Bún Cá (Hanoi-style fish noodle soup). No tourist traps. Just a proper neighborhood bowl to start the trip right.
