If we're the same level and pay there's no way in hell anyone micromanages me.
Had a boss try managing bathroom breaks once. Had his little lackey, who I trained, keep track and had the stones to question me about it. Smiled when he asked me about it, more like a stupid little smirk like he caught me doing something wrong. Well I gave him the play by play of why it took a while, ended up being stomach flu. Him and boss turned several shades of green and never bothered me about bathroom breaks again.
Yeah, I know I would’ve brought some kind of charges of what not against HR for not believing me in the first place and me having to document all this bullshit. Anyhow, I’d ask for a raise talk to the CEO like this is ridiculous.
"I had no idea she was doing all that" "No, I informed you and what was it you said? Oh that's right, 'Maria is just detail orientated, try and see it as collaberation' Next time take it seriously and do your f**king job as a manager
I wouldn't show up to the meetings. When she complained to HR I would have told them. SHE is not my manager. I don't work with her in any capacity. She has zero authority over me and is making my job difficult. She is creating a hostile work environment. Do I need a lawyer?

First (btw why are these so many people saying disrespect?, it's our choice if we wanna say first)
Taking that much disrespect for a while, not me I would’ve immediately reported her, and if she continued take further action
Why put up with any of it?
New employee starts “checking up on me” they get their head detached and reattached by HR.
YOU AIN’T MY BOSS FACK OFF ROOKIE!!!!
Respect to the person who said respect to the person they respected.
There's the 47 that every AI story has to have.

Not going to lie, that beef stew looks delicious…
I would have reported her to HR and bring a lawyer to the meeting with HR

I would of called a lawyer they allowed this to happen and chose to side with her
the second time i reported it to HR and they did nothing they would deal with a lawyer
U never should've allowed her to think she can do this! She's not ur boss.
She's NUTS!!!
i dont know why they consider this to colaboration rather than harassment. A toxic work environment.
When students go to the restroom I tell them I hope everything comes out all right.
I have a co-worker like this. I leave group chats, cancel meetings, and ignore her "suggestions".
Someone has a STALKER!
I love how the manager pretended he didn't know what the crazy woman was doing. He definitely knew it was harassment

Ok
Never tolerate stupid bullies. If she wasn't my boss, she can kiss my ass.
