Who are we?
We are Kristina (US) & Paul (UK), we are two teachers who in 2020 bought an old lake house in northern Italy (on Lake Iseo) and are in the process of renovating it ourselves. We are currently out of budget for the renovation so we are doing what we can with what we have.
This is not just a creative project, this is our only house!
We are trying to make the house move in ready before the beginning of winter (around November 2026)
I hope we haven’t bitten off more than we can chew because missing that winter deadline would mean having to spend another brutal winter in my sister-in-law’s apartment with no heating system and an outhouse for a bathroom. After so many people asked, we finally decided to document and show our adventures in Italy here on youtube.

Yes it's beautiful there but what do you do for work there isn't like there's factories or offices jobs close to there sounds like he's a big dreamer you better get to working😂😂😂

Well done! Some impressive progress. Its wild to me that the cellar under a house could belong to a different house. I am curious what that would cost? im guessing the paperwork involved would cost more than the seller is asking.
Looking forward to seeing your future content, rooftop terrace sound perfect and if that basement has even half the wine bottles your image shows im not sure how sober you will be in the next decade.
One note in regard to vids- some shorts are a bit confusing, like the talk about your 39k lakehouse and show a nice garden renovation.
