My son and daughter in law, who live there, said Milan is deserted. The atmosphere of fear thanks to "militarized policing" is horrible, many businesses have closed, there are road blocks with ID checks everywhere. My son's 2 restaurants will suffer instead of booming, as they should during an event like this
