My name is Lucas Vianini and I am an Italian citizen. Yesterday I watched the opening ceremony of the Milan Cortina Olympics and later read that Vice President Vance was met with boos. I did not hear them on television, as they were not broadcast, and I sincerely hope they were not many. Nevertheless, I feel deeply embarrassed by what happened and I wish to apologize for the reception he received, which he certainly does not deserve.
I truly believe that the American administration under President Trump and Vice President Vance represents profoundly moral and ethical leadership, courageously defending freedom of speech and justice. Unfortunately, in Europe there is a growing seed of Marxist corruption that mocks morality and undermines fundamental values.
I am writing simply to express my apology and to say that many Italians support your administration and hope to continue counting on your strength and example.

I hated Favino declaim the poem "l'infinito" (the infinity) by G.Leopardi… my favorite use of Italian language ever, Leopardi crafted and bent our language so well the whole vocabulary needed a cigarette, i love it so much, but it's difficult, most Italians didn't even comprehend, nevermind appreciate… So why?
