INGREDIENTS:
¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

2 (1-pound) balls pizza dough, at room temperature

2½ cups (10 ounces) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese

¼ cup (1 ounce) grated Pecorino Romano cheese

1 (12- to 14-ounce) jar pizza sauce

Kosher salt

INSTRUCTIONS:
Arrange a rack in the bottom third of the oven and preheat the oven as high as it will go (usually around 500°F).

Coat a sheet pan with the olive oil, then add the pizza dough. Pinch the balls together to form one big piece, turn to coat in the oil, then gently stretch and dimple until the dough fills the pan. (If the dough springs back, cover with plastic wrap and rest at room temperature for 10 minutes, then try again.) Use a gentle hand to avoid toughening the crust.

Sprinkle the dough with the mozzarella and pecorino, leaving a ½-inch border at the edges. Dollop spoonfuls of the pizza sauce all over (the pizza won’t be covered in
sauce). Sprinkle with salt. Bake on the lower rack, rotating the pan halfway through, until the crust is browned and the mozzarella is browned in spots, 15 to 17 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes, then cut into squares and serve.

  1. That looks like a Sicilian style Pizza… it probably would cost you about $30.00 bucks in N.Y.C…lost delicious.

  2. En muchos sitios de España también se hace la señal de la cruz antes de hornear el pan, se nota que España e Italia tienen historia en común 😮

  3. Well, someone tell the lady that pizza requires tomato sauce on the surface of the dough and cheese on top …not the opposite🤭
Would you consider two burgers and a slice of bread between them a hamburger⁉️🤌
Miming the sign of cross (which was actually done before baking bread, not pizza , last century by the way, definitely not nowadays with self-rising flours) does not make Italian cuisine 😏🤭

  4. I'm always so surprised to see that people are using that expensive sauce. I tasted it once, and it didn't taste that great to me. Didn't taste any better than one 1/4 of the price. If I was going to spend $10 on a jar of pasta sauce, then I'd rather take that $10 and buy the ingredients for homemade. My homemade sauce is way better. But it just surprises me how many people in these videos use that brand name sauce. It's so expensive. Definitely not any sort of budget meal. Not that this video is saying that it's budget friendly I'm just saying.
