HIGH PROTEIN SHEET PAN ZITI 🍝

Per serving: 418 cal, 43g protein, 15g fat, 12g net carbs

I made this high protein + low carb with my @kaizenfoodco pasta, but use any pasta you prefer.

Ingredients:
Avocado oil spray; salt, pepper
2x 8oz boxes Kaizen ziti lowcarb pasta or pasta of choice
1 tsp olive oil
1 lb lean ground beef (93/7)
1 yellow onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp fennel seed
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
24oz pasta or tomato sauce
1 tsp monk fruit (optional)
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup low-fat ricotta
10oz frozen spinach, thawed
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup grated parmesan
Basil, garnish

Here is how I made it:

1.Heat your oven to 350°F.

2.Bring a pan on medium, brown beef with the diced onion, garlic, and spices, for 12-15 mins.

3.Stir in marinara sauce and optional monk fruit and let simmer.

4.Blend the cottage cheese + ricotta and salt and pepper until smooth.

5.Wring frozen thawed spinach dry; mix into cheese and set aside.

6.Boil salted water & cook your Kaizen protein pasta per package. Drain & rinse.

7.Stir pasta into sauce; spread on the sheet pan.

8.Dollop cheese mix over sheet pan & top with mozzarella + parm.

9.Bake 20–22 min uncovered; broil 2–3 min optional, let rest for 5 mins and enjoy. This makes 8 servings.

  1. This one looks awfully dry. First recipe on this site I wouldn't try. Others are exceptional 👍

  4. We think you are fantastic, been following you for the past 12 months and not had 1 meal that we haven’t liked ❤The recipes are so easy and simple to make but we wonder if it would be possible to state how many portions per recipe please? For 2 people or 4? Thanks

  5. Thank you. Love this recipe with pasta. Had stayed away from pasta products, dishes bc high carbs …and I miss pasta– will make this week.
