As it turns out, this wasn't "happily ever after". The author of the book divorced her husband and got with her best friend (played by Viola Davis in the movie), and has spoken about wanting to k&$l her while the woman was dying. Maybe Hollywood will make a sequel and cover her other book where she talks about it all.
This movie is a contradiction of terms…she doesn't was a man to tell her what to do yet some guy in a bathrobe is literally telling her what to do
