  1. My family in Pittsburgh has been doing polenta boards for decades. Nothing new to the states but looks great, chef!

  2. What is the point in a day and time when we do not have to slop our friends and family like they were midevil swine aka peasants. Some pretentious white person trting to recreate an experience that not a singular civilized person was ever glad they had to serve or be served that way because wooden plates kept bacteria and could or would eventually kill you. Pottery that was fired fully and glazed were the only thing that prevented the disentaria that was too often fatal from ingesting your dishes they drank booze, low beers mostly because unlike the water the alcahol killed the bacteria so the wealthy used pottery the not so much used yarrow or yew or other tree wood to build their tables as it had antibacterial properties but you still did not if able chance it and dump your food to serve on it. But now some pretintious idiot ,enlightened idiot wants to force you to experience unhygenic, uncooth, rediculous "tradition" that never was as she sees it as so posh its the italian equivilent of putting shackles on your friends of color before you dish out gruel into a gourd and they only eat after they put on their restraints and complied with the house slaves, like good n@#$$

  3. My inlaws have done polenta like this for years. Custom boards for the table, giant pot and big wooden stick to stir the polenta. Everyone has to take a turn for luck.
