Alfredo Sauce

Pasta of choice
4 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Season your shrimp and cook on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until color changes. Remove from the pan. Melt butter on medium heat. Add garlic cloves and mix until fragrant. Pour heavy cream and season with Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Let this simmer for a few minutes before lowering the heat & shredding Parmesan over top. Once thickened, add al dente pasta, shrimp & parsley. Add pasta water as needed.

  1. I’m sorry as weird as this sounds, half a block of cream cheese to your recipe will take it over the top. I’m Italian and turned my nose up at the cream cheese idea but I promise, it’s the best Alfredo sauce I’ve ever had!
