i dont understand the drizzle of oil that soaks in… why wouldnt you brush it on? im not even sure you can justify it with the idea that you would get a bite with the tastier oil streak. lol
The laziest way to do this is to use garlic bread from the frozen section. When I was 5 my cousin's and I, used to make French toast from toasting bread in the toaster, then spreading butter on it and cinnamon and sugar. Since we weren't allowed to use the stove without an adult present, this was the best way we knew how to make French toast.
