In Italy, we don’t have fish & chips…
we have cotoletta & chips 🇮🇹😌
🥚 Eggs first
🍞 Two types of breadcrumbs: super fine + crunchy
👉 Egg → fine crumbs → egg again → crunchy crumbs
🔥 Fry in peanut oil
🤫 Nonna’s secret? A little pork fat in the oil for extra flavor
Golden, crispy, and impossible to resist.
Let it rest on paper, add potatoes, salt, black pepper… and of course, the DEA touch ✨
Et voilà: Italian comfort food at its best.

she knows exactly what shes doing!;) i respect that in anyway… and she will be a great nonna someday
Chi ha mai mangiato la cotoletta di maiale per giunta così spessa?
Poi non è panata…
Andrebbe passata prima nella farina ..ma ho dubbi seri dubbi che quel pezzo di maiale si sia cotto ..
eww… would choose fish&chips all day any day.
This is a wrong recipe. Shes probably never been in Italy even. The real italian recipe cotoletta is made with veal “vitello” not pork. If you come to Italy you”ll only ever find it made with veal. The Italian recipe also does not include using cornflakes. Thats a big NO in Italy.
What kind of oil?
Nope. I think this is not cooked inside. In Italy we deep fry chicken breast (cotoletta) or veal (fettina panata). I've never seen deep frying pork like this, sorry.
