Bolgheri is a historic Tuscan village famous for its prestigious “Super Tuscan” wines, grown in the surrounding Bolgheri DOC appellation known for Bordeaux-style reds (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot).
The region of Bolgheri owes much of its reputation as one of the great DOCs of Italy to the famous producer Antinori and his unprecedented Supertuscans.
