I HATE lipstick on me ! I can do a shimmery pink lip gloss at best.
Flashbacks to the odd time my mother wore makeup. She wore a very white base foundation & bright red lips. Was very terrifying to me. She didn't look human !
Plus, I have decent size lips. Red makes them take over my face, lol 😆

Charlie i just realized… I used to follow you from your embroidery tutorial era and was not a regular viewer (I used to only watch tutorial based channels at that time)- your channel is one of first channel which made me love project based videos( what category does your video even fall into idk). That 2nd video(sweater one) is the video that made me regular viewer of your channel. Like I always actively wait for your channel to post something anything and i still do. You have a fun way of sharing your experience and I find you so entertaining and fun to watch (sorry for my bad english- You get the gist I just like you o((>ω< ))o)

You know I've watched ask these videos before but they still make me think every time.
I was raised with strong Halloween tradition. We went every year. My dad drove us in the bronco, it was the only time we were allowed to ride on the tailgate to avoid the miles of empty land in-between group of houses, it was always freezing and so fun. Today, maybe because I've also done cosplay and Ren faire I'm just not excited to get dressed up for Halloween. I just cant be bothered. Also the whole horror and gore side of it, hard no for me. My imagination doesn't need any more fuel that it already has. So despite having strong and wonderful Halloween memories I really am not excited or interested in it anymore. I think it's fine, I do enjoy other people enjoying Halloween so I say celebrate {or not} the season however you want.
Oh wow its funny those are the videos that didn't do as well because I am fairly certain your embroidery on sweaters video was how I found your channel (I have been trying to hype myself up to embroider on a sweater for years now) and I'm pretty sure the batwings was the second. I don't think I've seen all of these though so I am excited to watch

I've been binging Sewing Bee (and I think they have the Pottery thing) on the Roku Channel app here in America. (I added it to my smart TV like any other app. It's so good. Catch up! Some of the later seasons the challenges get wild.
In the Hobbit episode you mentioned we don't have a name for the potato of the leg, but we do. We call it a calf. Because meat and potatoes go together so well.
The video where Matt cut your hair and gave you the undercut was the video that inspired me to get an undercut as well. I had been so against the idea on myself, because I thought it would make my hair look too thin. However, when I saw how you looked with one, I decided to just do it. Best decision ever. I have ridiculously thick hair, so I have no idea why I thought my hair would look thin. Lol. But the weight feels so much better and unless my hair is up in a bun, you can't even tell I have the undercut.
In the framing clips, you look very cozy and whimsical in your Winnie-the-Pooh sweater under the painted willow tree.

🌃'Starry Night' on a sweater would be pretty cool. A year or two ago, I saw a cool colourworked sweater based on the 'Unicorn in Captivity' tapestry. Personally, I've been considering embroidering a landscape across the back yoke of a dress shirt.
"You know we love an unboxing." At a recent family gathering, my oldest niece and I got to talking about the various 'genres' of YouTubers, and we ended up having to explain to my parents what 'unboxing videos' are. The general response was 'polite confusion'.
The coveralls and the books shelf skirt: "Basically as many pockets as I can possibly get on here." The shelf skirt would be fun to have on a display cone if there were space for it, to spin around and use as an actual shelf. Eternal love to all the pockets!
Fabric thoroughly printed in vegetables or fruit is really fun. A fabric store near me has a selection, and I've got my eyes on the blackberries – but also, it's one of the more expensive of the printed cottons, and I really want to get enough to make a full dress, so it hasn't been in the budget yet. I haven't actually watched the Potato Corset video until recently, not because the thumbnail confused me, but because I'm not super into 'Hobbit' or 'Lord Of The Rings' stuff. I've been consuming more hobbit-y content lately because so many people I follow went to a themed convention recently, but that's because I'm watching These People rather than seeking out videos in This Fandom.

I love the side quest concept. I'll do a "clean for 15" day when I need motivation… do something fun for 45 minutes, then clean for 15. I managed to clean my entire apartment while also playing The Sims for 9 hours once, and I'm still proud of it.
Also, I covet the whale. I saw several of them at my local Joann at the beginning of their going out of business sale, but they were still like $80 or something, so I decided to wait. And never saw them again. So sad.
