🥦 Italian comfort food that loves you back.

At this restaurant, I ordered a classic: broccoli rabe — and it’s a perfect example of how simple ingredients can deliver serious health benefits.

🔥 Broccoli rabe is rich in glucosinolates → anti-inflammatory bioactives that support metabolism and blood vessel health
🫒 Extra virgin olive oil adds powerful polyphenols for heart & brain health
🌶️ Chili flakes contain capsaicin, which helps activate brown fat and boost metabolism
🧄 Garlic delivers allicin, known to support healthy cholesterol

This is how I eat when I’m out: flavorful, traditional dishes that quietly support circulation, metabolism, and longevity.

  1. You cook it like broccoli, I prefer sautéed and use it with chicken and ziti. Just not sure if it’s full of lectins and I’m trying to figure out why when I eat garlic, why I get heartburn. Dr. Li any advice?

  2. Slice garlic, peppers, broccoli rub. Heat olive oil, saute the broccoli. Within 2 minutes add garlic, peppers and pinch of salt. Saute together 2-3 minutes it's ready. Let it be tender don't over cook and change broccoli color.
