Eurooo presents Interview with Italian Luxury Lab
90 years of excellence – all about craftsmanship
The history
It was 1930 when, on the shores of Garda Lake, the great-grandfather Antonio made taps for wine, oil and fountains, robust products allied to people in everyday life.
At the end of the Second World War his son Giovanni, who learned manufacturing techniques thanks to his father’s teachings, sensed the rebirth moment that Italy was preparing to live and moved the business to Milan and he combined the substance of the product with the value aesthetic required by the urban bourgeoisie.
From the beginning, the unique pieces produced by the craftsman were appreciated in the city and he didn’t take long before his creations became part of the furnishings of the Milan salons, thanks to the collaborations with the most successful architects. The artisan, despite the amount of work continued to increase, did not give up producing in a traditional way, gradually integrating the use of new technologies with the knowledge inherited from his father, thus managing to maintain the high level of creations, perfect for the refined city dwellings.
In 1977 Eugenio, after having spent his adolescence practicing with his grandfather, officially joined the company and continuing the tradition that has its roots on the shores of Garda Lake.
Producing prestigious articles also with the use of porcelain, stones and precious crystals, he understood the need to export worldwide the Italian KnowHow product and founded his own company in 1988, to create a common thread between technical innovations and the tradition breathed in the grandfather’s laboratory.
To this day the dream and the tradition continue within Italian Luxury Lab, where Eugenio remains the central figure of the company, artisan artist and designer, flanked by a team of expert collaborators who share his values.
Italian Luxury Lab is one of the few artisan workshops of Made in Italy, full of history, tradition and deep-rooted thoughts in manufacturing Italy built by people like Antonio, artisan on Garda Lake.
