Romans is definitely my go to for years now but thanks to this review I will be trying Butler's next
Pizza Hut would have cleaned
I agree with you on Roman's but some people I know can't stomach it. Debonairs has gotten better in my experience but the truth is, nothing is really worth it in SA anymore
Understand taste fatique…but think it only fair to taste the same pizza and roughly the same sizes…maybe make it only 3 at a time,palate cleanser before and after every one🤔. If there is a lot of same food places…do a couple eavh time and then have a final round with each winner compared.
Suggest garage pies en then the deli pies of the Cape as a next idea…think we will be surprised

Mind you, if we're going 30cm for 30cm, Debonairs is more expensive than Panarottis. I'm from Botswana and we have all the same pizza places you visited apart from Butler's. I'd much rather wait a little longer for a Panarottis pizza that at least I know I'll enjoy than that eat that nasty cardboard with mid sauce and dry cheese that Debonairs quickly serves. Haven't had Roman's in years because they closed down nationwide for a while before only recently reopening, but as I recall, it was significantly better (and cheaper) than Debonairs. I have no idea how Debonairs is the most popular pizza chain in Africa. It's actually nasty.
Panarottis Californian or Carnivore is a fav for me. They once had a Moroccan lamb and pulled pork that was just so nice.I really wish they can bring back all you can eat 🍕.Their dough is actually good but I agree could do with a lovely crisp.Romans Pepperoni thick base is 🔥.Love the content bro keep it up💪🏽
If you ever in Mitchell's Plain try M&D Pizza Masala steak or Chicken & Mushroom (which also has a masala vibe to it) hands down my favorite pizza in CPT.
Debonairs have been terrible for years. We stopped going there years ago. Great and honest review 💯
Amazing review as always Wesley👌 Roman's Pizza N1 city is my go to spot as well. The service is always top notch, friendly staff and Pizza is always fresh and hot, with a nice crispy thin base. Debonairs and Panarottis is the worst, just doesn't have that Pizza taste, way too doughy. NA J's grills in Bothasig also makes awesome wood fired pizzas, not sure if you tried it already. Will definitely try out Butler's next. Love that you posting 2 videos a week now. Keep up the awesome reviews and vlogs that you post🙏
Roman's N1 is still the best compared to the rest. Value for money with great taste

I always ask myself why Kasi shopping centres only have debonairs when in actual fact ROMANS pizza is way way better
Butler's was and is my go to pizza when Im in Cape Town. Its the only pizza I eat, been since high school and I'm over 40, so its been a while 😅. The ingredients are fresh and yes its pricey, but honestly id rather pay slightly more and get quality ingredients. The Hero abd Funly Fabb are my pizza options at Butler's yum. Ai Panarottis, I used to work for them once upon a time in my student days..all I can say it..not all pizzas are equal 😅, los ma..still have trauma from those bottomless pizza shifts 😆.

Same here, Romans any day over debonairs. Everything is insanely sweet at debonairs, their target market is definitely 6 year olds
I looked at this show and enjoyed it, but think you not comparing apples with apples. You need to do a test with the SAME ingredients on the 3 different pizza's from the 3 stores.
